Do You Struggle to Stay Focused or Feel Overwhelmed by Daily Tasks?

  • Are you constantly battling to maintain attention on important tasks?

  • Do you feel frustrated by frequent forgetfulness or impulsivity?

  • Is managing time effectively a persistent challenge, impacting your daily routines and relationships?

  • Do you wish you could harness your energy and creativity without feeling overwhelmed?

  • Do you struggle with overwhelm when faced with multiple tasks and/or deadlines.

  • Do you ever feel like you have so many things you want to do with your life, but feel stuck in moving towards your goals?

  • Do you have a hard time accepting feedback from others?

Living with ADHD often means navigating a world that seems structured for a different rhythm—a pace where focus, organization, and impulse control come naturally. But ADHD therapy is not about changing who you are; it’s about giving you the power to harness your strengths and cultivate strategies that work for you. At its core, ADHD therapy is a journey toward self-mastery and confidence, helping you take the reins of your daily life.

You're Not Alone – Many People Face Similar Challenges

ADHD is more common than you might think, affecting millions of adults and children worldwide. It’s a condition that doesn’t just affect kids; many adults continue to experience symptoms throughout their lives. Additionally, many cis adult women live with ADHD, but have spent years struggling in silence or without understanding what was causing their daily challenges.  Thankfully, more doctors and mental health providers now know what signs and symptoms to look out for in women to help reduce misdiagnosis.

The good news is, with the right support and strategies, managing ADHD is entirely possible. Therapy can offer you the tools to transform challenges into strengths, helping you to lead a more organized and fulfilling life. Therapy can also help individuals that spent years living with undiagnosed ADHD and suffer from significant self-doubt, low self-esteem and rejection sensitivity dysphoria, with addressing and resolving negative thought/belief patterns, improving self-acceptance and compassion and enhancing their ability to advocate for themselves as needed.

We strive to help people with ADHD learn about their unique needs, abilities and strengths that may be difficult to recognize on their own.  Several of our clinicians, including our founder, are neurodivergent and have used their personal journey to help their neurodivergent clients embrace their neurotype and work through barriers that they experience day to day. We also help clients process unresolved trauma and learn cognitive, behavioral and somatic strategies that can support individuals with feeling and doing their best.

Empowerment comes not only from understanding, but also from having the right tools. ADHD therapy is practical at its heart, offering personalized strategies for organizing your time, managing distractions, and setting achievable goals. With techniques like breaking tasks into smaller steps, using reminders or visual schedules, and learning how to prioritize, you can transform overwhelming days into manageable moments. These skills don’t just exist in theory—they’re tools you’ll practice and refine until they feel like second nature, helping you move through your daily routine with greater ease and confidence.

Cultivating a Sense of Control and Achievement

ADHD therapy helps you rediscover your sense of agency. When you start to see progress—whether it’s getting out the door on time, following through on commitments, or simply feeling less scattered—you build trust in yourself. This momentum fuels a positive cycle: as you experience small wins, your confidence grows, and with it, your willingness to tackle new challenges. Therapy supports you in celebrating these victories and learning from setbacks, nurturing a mindset where setbacks are opportunities, not roadblocks.

Strengthening Relationships and Communication

ADHD can sometimes affect relationships with family, friends, and colleagues, leading to misunderstandings or frustration. Therapy equips you with communication strategies and self-advocacy skills, empowering you to express your needs and boundaries clearly. Over time, this helps strengthen your connections with others and create more supportive environments at work and home. ADHD therapy can provide you with an opportunity to practice advocacy skills in a safe and supportive environment, prior to using these skills in your day to day life.

Addressing Common Concerns About ADHD Therapy

What if I don't have time for therapy?

Managing ADHD often involves learning to prioritize and manage time effectively. Therapy sessions are designed to be flexible, fitting into your schedule while teaching you valuable skills to enhance your time management. We will work with you to determine your specific needs, strengths and executive functioning challenges to support you achieving your therapeutic goals. We can meet online to reduce strain on your time and resources, or we can look at modifying the appointment time and frequency to ensure that therapy doesn’t negatively impact your day to day functioning.

Is therapy expensive?

Investing in therapy is an investment in yourself. We offer a sliding scale for fees as well as take many insurance plans to ensure that financial constraints do not prevent you from accessing the support you need.

What if therapy doesn't work for me?

Therapy is a team effort, and we'll always adjust our approach. If it's still not clicking, we'll explore other options together.
