About Me
I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, and life transitions. Many of the individuals I see come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about who they are and where they are going. Together, we create space to better understand these experiences and to move toward a more grounded and meaningful way of living.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. I strive to provide a space where all aspects of your identity are welcomed, respected, and explored without judgment. This includes support around identity development, relationships, self-acceptance, and the unique stressors that can come with navigating a social world that does not always feel affirming or safe.

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. I use a harm reduction framework when working with substance use, emphasizing compassion, autonomy, and realistic, sustainable change.

My background includes work in medical and hospital settings, particularly with individuals facing chronic and terminal illness. From that experience, I have become comfortable with therapy from an existential approach, addressing things like anxiety about the future, questions of meaning and purpose, end-of-life care, and the emotional impact of illness, grief, and loss. I aim to create a space where these topics can be explored openly and at your own pace.

I view therapy as a space not only for symptom relief, but for deeper understanding, growth, and connection; to both yourself and to the life you want to build.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find me backcountry skiing in the Cottonwood Canyons, reading science fiction (especially the original six Dune books), and spending time with my black lab puppy, Lucy.
