About Me

Hello! I am glad you are here!

Taking the steps to engage in therapy is brave and requires a lot of courage. Opening up to a stranger in an effort to create a healthier future is no small feat, and I am impressed to know you, whoever you are! My therapeutic philosophy revolves around honoring the incredible self-compassion that it requires to be vulnerable with a therapist. I value individual autonomy and strive to create a space where you feel heard and empowered. I commit to showing up with curiosity and compassion with the intent to help equip you with the everyday bravery it takes to be human.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, life transitions, and trauma. I have training in EMDR, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and TF-CBT. I have worked with adolescents, older adults, children, families, and young adults. Ultimately, I am open to whichever modality best supports you and your therapeutic goals.

I received my Bachelor's in Elementary and Middle School Education in 2017 from Concordia University Chicago. From there, I moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts and served an AmeriCorps year at a Children's Justice Center. I moved out to Utah in 2018 and graduated with my Master's in Social Work in 2021.

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. I am currently adding “learn to ski” to my five year plan in an effort to seem less Californian. In my free time, I like to explore local breakfast places, meander the many local trails, and toss tennis balls for my dog, Jay.
